The first thought in my head as I started this post about summer was OLAF! If you have small children (even if you don't) all things Frozen are embedded into your head.
Here's our summer recap in pictures!
Last Saturday I celebrated my 10 year high school reunion with my former classmates. As the event approached us, I began to reflect on these years. The first thoughts in my head were "Well...you didn't become a doctor like you thought" followed by "You don't even use your degree". I immediately thought of the things I didn't do. It wasn't until more recently that I realized how much I have done.
I maintained friendships, rekindled friendships, and made new friends that will be lifelong relationships. I have two of the most amazing, beautiful baby girls with my husband. I started a business that I have such a passion for, as well as volunteer for a group of women that I am equally passionate about. These years also brought I lot of heartbreak. I lost the number one man in my life tragically and our family will never be the same, but we are strong. As we look back at life, I hope we can look at all the positives and accomplishments, whether big or small.
Cheers to the Lindsay High School Class of 2004.
