One More Week!

In just one more week, we will be welcoming our baby girl into the world! To celebrate, here is a preview of our maternity portraits! My wonderful brother came with us to take them.  He stood where I needed to stand, I set up all the settings based on him, then we swapped places.  I gave the photos a little photoshop love and voila´!

Spud the Couch Potato

go back

In March I went to check the mail like usual and had a package waiting for me from my brother.  I opened it to find two copies of a new children's book, Spud the Couch Potato, written by him! I'm not sure if it was the pregnancy hormones, or just the mother in me, but when I turned the page and saw the book was dedicated to my daughter the tears started flowing.  He had done all of it as a surprise for the two of us, and what an amazing gift to a two year old little girl!

Spud has quickly become her favorite book that we read before bed at night. It has a wonderful story line and message, as well as an amazing rhyme and cute characters.  If you are looking for a book to add to your child's book collection or maybe to your classroom, check out Spud the Couch Potato.

Catch an interview with the author, and get your copy of Spud the Couch Potato at Amazon.
