One thing that photographers love is LIGHT! Lighting is key for a good portrait, whether it's in studio or natural light.

One of my favorite times of the day is the Golden Hour (the first and last hour of sunlight). It's very soft so we avoid any harsh shadows on the subject, and you can get a dreamy, golden glow backlighting your subject.
